Customers subscribed to Business Class Email & Calendaring have access
to a fully-featured control panel. Follow the step-by-step process below to create
a new Exchange mailbox:
- Open a web browser and go to https://control.apparatus.net.
- Enter the username and
password for the administrative user account and click Login.
- Click Hosting across
the top navigation bar.
- Click Exchange in the
left navigation.
- Click Mailboxes in the
left navigation.
- Click the Add New Mailbox button in the
right window pane.
- Choose New Service User and click Next. If you would like to know more about service users, search for "service user" in the Apparatus knowledge base.
- Complete the following to create the service user and click Next:
- Display name: this will reflect the name shown in the From field when others view
messages sent from your account.
- Login: enter a unique
name (i.e., asmith).
- Password: choose and
enter a complex password.
- Enter the Size Limit (amount of disk space allowed for this email
account).
- Check the provided checkboxes
for all services you would like to allow for the account. By default,
Apparatus allows access to all protocols and mobile services.
- Leave the Mailbox Initialization options as
defaulted and click the Finish button.
