Once a public folder is created, it is important you define the users that should or should not have access to it. Complete the steps below to configure the necessary permission levels:

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://control.apparatus.net.
  2. Enter the username and password for the administrative user account and click Login.
  3. Click Hosting across the top navigation bar.
  4. Click Exchange in the left navigation.
  5. Click Public Folders in the left navigation.
  6. Click the public folder in the right window pane that you would like to configure for user permissions.
  7. Select the Permissions tab.
  8. Click the Add button.
  9. Locate the user, select the appropriate permission using the drop-down box, and click Submit.

Note: Reviewer will allow the user to view the items in the folder; author will allow the user to create new items; editor will allow the user to create, modify, and delete items.
