Apparatus Named to the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies for 2010
August 24, 2010 (INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Information Technology Consulting and Managed Services provider Apparatus was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America for the second year in a row.
Apparatus earned the spot on this year’s list with nearly 150% growth in revenue from 2006 through 2009, placing Apparatus No. 1862 on the list of fastest-growing private companies in the country.
Apparatus is an Indianapolis-based provider of advanced information technology consulting and managed services. Founded in 1999, the company specializes in the design, build and support of IT infrastructure solutions for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Apparatus has been named one of the fastest-growing private companies in Indianapolis for five consecutive years by the Indianapolis Business Journal and one of the best places to work in Central Indiana by the Indianapolis Star.

The Inc. 5000 list ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth. The 2010 list reports growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2006 and therefore, able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2009.
